The Wickedness.Net project seeks to explore all issues
relating to evil and human wickedness. In particular, it has two main
aims;
- to provide a comprehensive forum which is committed to promoting
inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary explorations of, and perspectives
on evil and wickedness.
- to make available to scholars, researchers, and any one interested
a set of research tools that bring together a wide variety of materials
and resources which relate to this subject.

The project is deliberately and distinctively inter- and multi-disciplinary
in nature; the hope is that this will help generate provocative insights
into evil from across the spectrum of academic fields, professions, vocations,
religious traditions and other relevant sources. By bringing together
perspectives and views from the various disciplines, professions, and
vocations the emphasis is on creativity and innovation in wrestling with
the problems raised by evil and human wickedness.

The project will facilitate and support all forms of research and inquiry
into evil and wickedness and foster a global dialogue capable of building
a multi-layered picture of the problems and possible solutions encountered
when dealing with evil and wickedness. There will be a forum to further
understanding, facilitate exchanges, and encourage informed debate on
issues and trends relating to evil; an e-mail discussion group has been
launched as the first phase in implementing the forum. Details on how
to join can be found here.
The project will also start to collect a comprehensive
range of resources relating to the subject. In Phase Two of the development,
a fully searchable database of resources will be brought on line, along
with a vast store of research materials, links, and other useful tools
to help in seeking to understand and wrestle with the whole area of evil.
Further details can be found here.

An ISSN e-journal has been launched to support the work of the project
and promote cutting edge research and dialogue. The e-journal targets
a global audience of readers interested in inter-disciplinary research
and reflection that is clear, accessible and jargon-free. Impartial in
its orientation, it will solicit and welcome rigorous contributions expressing
any perspective. The journal will have a mixture of themed and free standing
editions. Contribution types will include autobiographical and personal
reflections, scholarly articles and book reviews, poems and short stories,
debates and dialogues, reports on contemporary developments. Further details
can be found here.

The project is also investing in a rigorous programme of publications
which support inter- and multi-disciplinary investigations of evil and
human wickedness. In partnership with Rodopi
publishers there are already a number of manuscripts which have been published
and are in preparation. We also welcome and encourage proposals for publication.
